A new version of the ACT-R 7 software is now available from the ACT-R
website: <http://act-r.psy.cmu.edu/software/>. The current version
is now 7.0.11-<2054:2016-07-15>.

The primary reason for this release is because a bug was found in the
previous release with the perceptual history tools. The audicon and
visicon information was always being recorded, even if the parameters
indicating to do so were turned off (the default values are off).
That could increase the time needed to run models which have lots
of perceptual features significantly. This version no longer contains
that bug.

Another change with this version is that the AGI has been extended to
provide separate creation and modification actions for the text, button,
and line items for the experiment windows.

You can check the commit log at <http://act-r.psy.cmu.edu/log/actr6log.txt>
for notes on these changes and to find information on other changes since
the last release.

If you have any questions or problems with the new version please let
me know.

Dan
