  CHAIR IN PSYCHOLOGY
  &
  LECTURERS IN PSYCHOLOGY (TWO POSTS)
  
  Applications are invited for the above posts from a research team or
  independent psychologists.  The School is particularly keen to make
  appointments in cognitive neuropsychology or cognitive neuroscience,
  although candidates in any areas of the discipline that would complement
  our existing research will be considered.
  
  The School of Psychology has strong research traditions in artificial
  intelligence, cognitive psychology, and the developmental aspects of the
  psychology of learning, and is now looking to extend its research in
  neuropsychology and neuroscience.  Existing groups have links with
  colleagues in the University's Medical School and in the Magnetic Resonance
  Centre on campus, where a 3T MRI scanner is available for collaborative
  research.  Other facilities, including MRI scanners, are available in the
  Medical School.
  
  These posts are available from 1 August 1999, or as soon as possible
  thereafter.
  
  Salary for the Chair post will be within the Professorial scale, minimum
  37,420 per annum.
  Salary for the Lecturer posts will be within the range 16,655 - 29,048
  per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
